  • Scoping call: confirm fit and constraints
  • Short intake: workflow, systems, data sensitivity, owner
  • Fixed-scope proposal: deliverables, timeline, exclusions
  • Kickoff + delivery: time-boxed, measured, and closed cleanly
Service boundaries (no surprises)
  • Not managed services: no implied long-term operations, monitoring, or SLAs
  • Not procurement: we advise, but don’t negotiate vendor contracts
  • Not open-ended R&D: fixed outputs in fixed timeboxes

Stop/go decisions are part of the product

If no decision is enabled, the engagement failed. We keep it honest.

Proceed
The workflow shows measurable improvement and the risk controls hold. Scale deliberately.
Iterate
The idea is promising but needs a narrow revision or prerequisite work.
Stop
The evidence doesn’t support scaling. Retire it and avoid wasted spend.
